CineSol Film Festival has teamed up with South Texas Horror Con for the

1st ever 48 Hour Slash Dash!!

48 Hour Slash Dash

OVERVIEW FOR PARTICIPANTS

Objective – complete a digital film, within 48 hours by following the rules!

The rules are simple and all teams will obtain the final five elements during the kick-off meeting. The elements “may” include action, prop, dialogue, location and character.
Then, watches are synchronized and you’re off in a race to complete the film!
Films will be judged the following weekend.

REGISTRATION CHECK-IN AND KICK OFF MEETING – Friday, October 10, 2014

LOCATION – Roosevelt’s at 7

821 N. Main St., McAllen, TX

($65 per team. Fee covers 4 participants. Additional participants pay a $10 per person fee. Fee includes Slash Dash lanyard/badge and T-Shirt.)

REGISTRATION AND CHECK IN TIME – 6:30pm- 8:30pm

KICK OFF MEETING – following registration

START OF DASH ESTIMATED TO BE “9:30pm”

FINAL DELIVERY OF FILM – Sunday, October 12, 2014

700 Convention Center Blvd., McAllen, TX

Doors open 12:00 pm screening time 1:00pm

Awards presentation 3:00 pm

48 Hour team members – free with badge

General admission – $5.00 per person
